Painting on Papers made of fibers from Japanese trees, in various compositions. Recently, the Traditional Japanese Washi Paper  (和紙) was declared by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage da  Humanity, a recognition of the millennial work of artisan families.

I use washi paper in some of my works as an important counterpoint to candle wax (paraffin), a striking symbol of ephemerality, as washi paper was made to last for millennia.
